ルーマニアのロックバンドSfinxのボーカルとして活動したCrina Mardare, Elena PerianuがGrupul Stereoとして組んだユニット。レーベルオーナーȘtefan Cărăpănceanuがプロデューサーとして、ルーマニアの電子音楽シーンを築いた奇才Adrian Enescuがサウンドを手掛け、奇跡の一枚に仕上がっています。
冒頭の"Salut Lumina Vieții"はイントロから衝撃のキュートなシンセポップ。Adrianが奏でる空間を支配するシンセウェーブにほっこりする彼女たちのボーカルワークが冴え渡り聞いたことのないような空気感を持つ曲。これすごすぎ。
元々は、私著書の「ポスト・ハウスミュージックディスクガイド」にて、セレクトしてくださったMori-raさん、Vinyl Deliverly Serviceさんの2名がセレクトされていて、まさかここで被るの！（笑）という奇跡が起こりまして、それで知りました。
Crina Mardare and Elena Perianu, former vocalists of the Romanian rock band Sfinx, teamed up to form Grupul Stereo.
With label owner Ștefan Cărăpănceanu acting as producer and Adrian Enescu, a genius in the Romanian electronic music scene, handling the sound, the result is a miraculous piece of work.
The first track, "Salut Lumina Vieții," is a cute synth-pop song that shocks you from the very beginning, with Adrian's space-dominating synthwave and the girls' vocal work that gives the song an atmosphere like you've never heard before. This is too incredible!!
