70年代にアメリカJon Appletonが所長と務める大学の研究所でも活動。79年、80年とおそらく世界初？な水中ライブ"Immersion"をまとめた作品になっています。
前衛的でありながらも現代、ミニマル音楽の解釈も得られ聴きやすく特にA2"Immersion Partielle"（Sample 6:30頃〜）は、アンビエントなリスナーの方にもおすすめ。
This is the debut album by French electronic musician Michel Redolfi.
In the 70's, Redolfi worked at a university laboratory headed by Jon Appleton in the US. This album is a compilation of his live underwater performances "Immersion" in 1979 and 1980.
It's while avant-garde, this album is easy to listen that is interpretation of contemporary minimal music, especially A2 "Immersion Partielle" (Sample 6:30-), which is recommended for ambient listeners.
