Fernando Girao - Africana (86) CBS, Spain

1951年生まれでブラジル系ポルトガル人のFernando Giraoによる一枚。70年代からミュージシャンとして活躍していて、Gilberto Gil, Os Mutantes, Hermeto Pascoalらとも共演してきたようです。
そんな彼の86年の作品は、どこか洗練されつつも、牧歌的で切ないポップスでとても聴きやすくよい作品です。また渋い声もいいですね。

By Portuguese-Brazilian musician Fernando Girao, who is born in 1951, São Paulo.
He moved to Portugal aged 17 and founded the "Pentagono" band. In the early 70s he played with Gilberto Gil, Os Mutantes, Hermeto Pascoal, among others.

In 1986 album is an idyllic and smooth folky pop, somewhat refined. nice cool voice :)
